Hoaxes

Due to the high number of hoaxes I have been receiving from the internet since the September 11 attacks, I have decided to post this to educate as many people as possible.  If you receive an email telling you anything you may question, please do not pass this on.  You should only believe information that comes directly from a government agency and they almost never send out emails.  If you want true accurate information please visit the website of the appropriate agency.

I just received a message myself that really disgusted me.  I tracked it back to a server in Taiwan.  Someone was soliciting for a terrorist information newsletter that was to be sent in email to keep you up to date.  Of course they wanted a small fee for their services.  These people are cruel buzzards who are reaping from the great loss of others.  Do not pay anyone for services of this kind!  Websites are already springing up to give you up to date information free of charge.  They are usually government run and regulated.

I can check email messages for you if you wish to forward them to me at abuse@hackerhunter.net.  Once forwarded to me I can check the content and match it with other hoax sites.  You can also do this yourself by going to these sites:

Remember, we do not want to help forces hostile to this country by spreading false information.  Do not forward anything without confirming its authenticity and better yet, refer your friends to a website where they may find the information for themselves.
